I’m working at my desk, which has a terrific view of my forest, and something flashy green caught my eye; unfortunately it refused to provide a profile of its excellent horns :
Sadly, this stunning mottled creature, a Jackson’s Chameleon, is an invasive species. It is climbing down an ʻōhiʻa lehua, the mighty tree of the Hawaiian rain forest.
