44 Chilly Degrees, Lots of Rain, and Almost the Highest Point of the Camino

Only seven miles of walking (uphill, Rabanal del Camino to La Cruz de Ferro) today, due to the weather, and during that time my supposedly waterproof coat and pants proved falsely advertised. I also lost a little silver Irish Claddagh ring I bought myself in Galway; I hope it is found and loved by someone. Sadly, more cold and rain is predicted; there have even been whispers of snow. We shall see. The weather has not been my friend for several parts of this trip. That said, although there was lots of wet today, no biting wind or thick mud, so yea!!

As for “almost highest”, there is another spot ten meters higher, but I won’t be walking it.

Only a very few photos today. Rain. Sigh.

Live all you can. It’s a mistake not to.
